Reynolds Architecture recently completed this ‘anything but basic’ basement. Boasting a luxurious fitout, we’re not sure if we want to leave! Polished concrete floors expand through the large open spaces afforded buy the post-tensioned slab above. Natural light and connection is provided through floor glazing to the upper level and highlight below a popped mezzanine above. Sanitary and wet bar facilities required a mechanical plumbing solution due to the below-ground nature.
