Reynolds Architecture is an A+ Member of the Australian Institute of Architects. We operate as a small design studio based in Melbourne’s inner east specialising in a range of project types including residential, retail, commercial and educational developments with a focus on providing our Clients with a finish product that reflects their needs from the building.
We consider aesthetics, energy saving passive design and lifestyle requirements during the design phase, manage proposals through the complex process of Authority Approvals and work seamlessly with contractors during the construction stage.

Process
We pride ourselves on our intuition and listening skills to develop a brief that reflects your needs and desires in the built form. We use this to sketch out flexible design options and alternatives for you to consider before locking into complex documentation and avoidable construction variation issues.
Our approach follows the K.I.S.S philosophy. Good design doesn’t’t need fluffing at the edges. We focus on getting the basics right believing that the form will follow the function. Quality design comes from our selection of appropriate materials, considered detailing and simple good taste.

Director
With over 19 years experience working in the industry our director Peta Reynolds is an innovative Architect with a strong strategic mind and the ability to coordinate multiple professional groups and clients.
After starting Reynolds Architecture in 2011 after a decade spent at one of Melbourne’s major architectural firms, Peta has played a Project Architect’s role in the construction of luxury residences, major apartment and townhouse projects, recreational, aged care and commercial facilities. She has attended numerous VCAT submissions and specialised in complex planning applications. She runs her practice with efficiency, humor and originality.
